Day 20 - Fabulous Friday...

Another weekend is upon us...our last for The First 25 Days of 2012! So, here again are some of the things that caught my pinning fancy for this Fabulous Friday post. You can check these and more out on my Follow Me on Pinterest boards... [remember, to see any of these directly from here, just click on the picture :) ]

Starting this week is the Spectacular Spaces...
Like this great kitchen!

And this great kids room. Someday I think this might be great for the girls, especially if they share a room.

I've always liked benches at the dinning room table, and this week I found some cute ones, here is my favorite...

I must have been house dreaming this week because I seemed to see alot of great spaces...

But now we need to eat, right? So, how about some great looking pretzel rolls...

This looks great...hope I can remember to make it before Liz eats the last banana :)

And who doesn't love a good dessert...especially BROWNIES!!!
And a warm one in 2 minutes, ohhhh... by the way, it was really good!

The bad thing is that they are very easy...I'll have to practice self control :()

Now that we've dreamed and ate...lets craft!
I really should learn to crochet, this shrug would be great for the winter.

This quilt block was on Quilt Story yesterday, I just loved it and had to pin it...

And lastly for this edition of my pick-o-pins for the week, this great star block - with tutorial - from Lee at Freshly Pieced.

So much to see, so little time!
Glad you stopped by...

and his truth endureth to all generations.

Day 13 - Fabulous Friday...

Today's the day I'm going to share some of the things that caught my pinning fancy on this Fabulous Friday post of my The First 25 Days of 2012 celebration. You can check these and more out on my Follow Me on Pinterest boards... [remember, to see any of these directly from here, just click on the picture :) ]

First off, some great craft rooms...a girl can dream, right?

Now, some quilting to do in one of these great rooms...
How about some swoon?

I think I'm going to have to try this one soon...the flickr group has really taken off, I still want to peruse the upload photos there!

And some great inspirational pieces to get me excited about what I'll be able to do after Curves Class with Rachel at Stitched in Color...it doesn't start till February 1st, if you still want to join!

So, I hope you've had a good week and enjoy your weekend...and as if we need any help with inspiration...there are always some great linky parties - you can check out some on my right side bar!

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:
the mountains and the hills
shall break forth before you into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Isaiah 55:12

I found this to be a nice, soothing verse...and thought that it could be neat to think of the mountains and hills singing...what king of voice would they have? What hymn would they sing in praise to their Creator?

Then the trees 'clapping' their 'hands'...just love that metaphor! There is always a standing ovation for God's greatness!

Day 6 - Fabulous Friday...

Today's the day I'm going to share some of the things that are catching my fancy on this Fabulous Friday post of my The First 25 Days of 2012 celebration.

I recently started on Follow Me on Pinterest...and it's great for collecting ideas. The best thing is that the things I like that I might want to refer back to can just be 'pinned' to this virtual memory board/bulletin board...and the link is saved right there for you - COOL! Takes less time and space than saving it to my computer. Not to mention the ability to organize it all :)

Ok...so I'll show you a few quilt blocks that I really love and want to try out soon (and have pinned on to my pin board). If you want to see any of these and their links, just click on the picture!

This is one that I actually saved to my computer in August...and just remembered it :) I just love the colors!

I'm a new follower of the Fiber of All Sorts blog, I had visited back in August, but now (after revisiting) I found quite a few other things on this blog that I really like too. Like this block...
And this Dresden...

I've been wanting to try this out for a while, but haven't gotten the ruler for it yet...I guess I should have put one of those on my Christmas list...to late now! My Birthday list is already full too...Chad gave me a quilting class - the Curves Class that starts a week after my birthday, Yeah!

So, as if I need more projects...but there are!
Like this great idea for charging the cell phone...I definitly need one of these!
Always love a log cabin quilt...
These are a great idea, and I need to make some bookmarks...

I could keep going, but I think that this is enough inspiration for now...just need to start sewing some of these!

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy:
when I fall, I shall arise;
When I sit in darkness,
the Lord shall be a light unto me.
Micah 7:8

Another reminder that the LORD never leaves us. He always has a way of showing us His precence...we just need to remember to look for it, because there are going to be times when we sit in darkness. We need to look to God and remember His grace and mercy to us...being sure to not wollow in self pity. (My study Bible notes that the 'fall' in this verse is refering to falling into trial, not sin.)

This is a scheduled post...I did it last night for this morning...yeah! I'm ahead on something :)
