Let's talk about some Bible Journaling!

Today's project was in 1 Samuel 22, verse 23.

I've been more drawn to getting Bible Journaling done on videos,

although I do want to still do cards,

time just seems to be continually getting away from me to be able to do everything!

So, Bible journaling it is for now ;)

Earthen Vessels...

Today is a Bible journaling page I did last week...

on 2 Corinthians 4:7.

Leading Up to Resurrection Sunday...

Resurrection (Easter) Sunday is a couple weeks away 

and I have been working on reading through the events that surround

the last days of Jesus' life here on earth.

In doing so, I made a Scripture Writing/Journaling Plan

that begins with Jesus foretelling of his suffering

and concludes with Jesus ascending to Heaven.

Prayer Quote Bible Journaling...

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life,

and it has been a major topic for me lately.

Not only have I been working on a devotional about it,

but it was also the topic of Sunday's morning message at church.

Stand Still...

These words are spoken to Job in chapter 37, verse 14...

and this week I decided to Bible journal it!

This is the finished design...

which was inspired from a picture that was taken 

while I was on a missions trip back in 1998...

Adding Coloring...

Adult coloring books became popular a few years ago,

and are still popular and easy to find.

Bible Journaling is also an art form that has gained momentum as well...

Well, I enjoy both, but typically don't take time to do much coloring at home,

and I don't tend to want to do much Bible Journaling when I'm out with my Bible.

Merry Almost Christmas...

Merry Christmas!!!

So, we are only a couple days away 

from what could be considered the biggest holiday of the year...

and I'm still not ready!

I've been pretty busy with holiday preparations 

as well as traditional activities that come 

with the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

He Sought the Lord...

These words from 2 Chronicles 26:5 are part

of our Bible Journaling time together today.

When I recently heard this verse presented again,

it made me want to do a page with you.

Prepared Heart...

Ezra was a scribe that was in Babylon during the exile...

He requested of the king to return to Jerusalem...

His request was granted to him

because the hand of the LORD his God was upon him.

He had the blessing of God upon him because he had prepared his heart...

Today, I'm sharing my Bible journaling 

of the verse in Ezra 7 that talks of Ezra's prepared heart.

Simple Bible Journaling with Stamps...

It has been a while since I have shared a Bible Journaling process with you.

And so, today we are going to journal Psalm 139:23-24 together.

Well, actually, I already did it 😊 but now I can share with you what I did.

Nature Scene Bible Journaling...

Psalm 104 has a number of references to nature in it.

And after reading in my daily reading, 

I decided to journal a nature scene...

Here is the video showing my process.

The stamp sets used are retiring at the end of May,

so if any peek your interest,

Sweet Sparrow Bible Journaling...

This week went by so fast... 

Sorry for not posting on Monday, 

because, although I have material ready, 

I had not been able to get a post written.

But today, I have a few minutes to share my Bible journaling with you...

For this particular project, I did not use all Stampin' Up! supplies....

I used what I had on hand that went with what I wanted to produce on the page.

I love the bird and hope to get more bird stamps,

 so I can do a variety of them in the pages of my Bible,

not to mention other projects. 

Birds are rather versatile and most people don't mind them!

Bible Journaling of Healed Woman in Luke 8:48...

Along with a flip through of some other journaling through my Bible.

This blog post is a little later in the day than normal for me, but I was having trouble getting going on what to write and record today...

But I did finally decide on some Bible journaling...and then I had to record it! Typically, I try to have the video recorded BEFORE the day I need to edit and post it, but that did not happen.

So, not only did I have decision making issues this morning, I then had some technical issues this afternoon once I started the recording.

But I finally got it done and edited...ready for you to watch my journaling process...

In the end, I liked the way it all came together and hope that you enjoyed seeing my Bible.

I did use stamps from two different sets:

I'd also recommend trying out the Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils... but you might have to wait a little while...they are currently unavailable to order! So obviously, they are very popular, probably because they coordinate with the Stampin' Up! ink colors.

I haven't taken the opportunity to order them for myself yet either, and so now I'll have to wait even longer...

oh, the pains of procrastination!

Bible Journaling Baby Moses' Basket...
