Let's talk about some Bible Journaling!

Today's project was in 1 Samuel 22, verse 23.

I've been more drawn to getting Bible Journaling done on videos,

although I do want to still do cards,

time just seems to be continually getting away from me to be able to do everything!

So, Bible journaling it is for now ;)

Embossed Vellum Wedding Card...

Summer is coming...

and weddings seem to be in abundance!

 Well, not for me to attend...

but for a customer that ordered 5 wedding cards!

Going Through the Woods...

Ahh, another Paper Pumpkin kit has arrived.

Manly Moments is this month, May 2018, kit.

It has components to make 10 cards with 10 envelopes.

 It is all set up for a masculine crowd...

but also includes an anniversary sentiment.

Coastal Magnet Favors...

This past Saturday our church had

a Mother-Daughter Luncheon...

a little early, but still a nice celebration in anticipation for Mother's Day.

It was a coastal/lighthouse theme...

Today is a Bible journaling page I did last week...

on 2 Corinthians 4:7.

You Are My Anchor...

is the title of this month's Paper Pumpkin kit...

April's class/club...

April is really going by fast...

and it's a little later than I had wanted it to be to announced,

but the projects for this month are ready to show!

All Kinds of Stuff...

The second weekend of April was OnStage,

 which is a gathering of Stampin' Up! demonstrators,

where we get to see the new catalog and try out new product.

We also got to hear about new things first!

The most notable is the Color Revamp that is happening at Stampin' Up!

Layered DSP Card...

Better a day behind than not at all, right?

Well, today I have a springy card made with layers of cardstock and DSP,

which is short for Designer Series Paper.

The patterned paper is the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper,

which has a cute Daisy Bundle with it in the annual catalog.

It's Vintagy...

March's Paper Pumpkin kit that is!

Not quite bright, Springy colors I thought would be used...

But it does have flowers!

I used the Happy Mother's Day stamp from the set
to get started on my Mother's day cards a little early!

Leading Up to Resurrection Sunday...

Resurrection (Easter) Sunday is a couple weeks away 

and I have been working on reading through the events that surround

the last days of Jesus' life here on earth.

In doing so, I made a Scripture Writing/Journaling Plan

that begins with Jesus foretelling of his suffering

and concludes with Jesus ascending to Heaven.

Prayer Quote Bible Journaling...

Prayer is an essential part of the Christian life,

and it has been a major topic for me lately.

Not only have I been working on a devotional about it,

but it was also the topic of Sunday's morning message at church.

February Paper Pumpkin Alternatives...

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription from Stampin' Up...

It is a great papercrafting kit that includes 

everything you need to complete the projects inside,

and it usually has left over items to use on other cards too!

A Quick Valentine...

Last night I figured I better work on a video for today...

I didn't have any projects planned to do,

so I ended up chatting a little at the beginning,

Adding Coloring...

Adult coloring books became popular a few years ago,

and are still popular and easy to find.

Bible Journaling is also an art form that has gained momentum as well...

Well, I enjoy both, but typically don't take time to do much coloring at home,

and I don't tend to want to do much Bible Journaling when I'm out with my Bible.

Prayer Board...

In earlier posts, I've shared my journal for the year with you.

It's a pretty, bound mint green with gold stripes journal from Staples (by Design Works Ink).

In it I have made a vision board and a prayer board for the year

(or for however long this journal lasts me!)

Sharing the Hearts...

Valentine's day is all about hearts right?

Sometimes I'm not such a fan of hearts,

but when they are the theme of the January Paper Pumpkin kits, 

you kind of have to figure out what to do with them...

Purple Coffee Birthday Card...

January is a cold and chilly month around here

and I thought a nice cup of coffee on a card

would make it seem a little warmer...

and that's nice for a January birthday!

Journal 2018 Dashboard...

So, it's been a little while since my last post...

Okay, so, it's been two weeks!

But while I was "missing" from here, 

I was thinking about things to blog,

I just haven't taken the time to sit and write here.

But I have been working in a personal Bible/Prayer journal

that I will be sharing a little further down in the post...

But first, I wanted to share a little...

It's the time of year where there are a lot of

"directional" and "the coming year outlook"

type posts on the internet...

and I had some thoughts to share with you along those lines

when I was thinking about what I wanted to write...

However, for this particular post, I don't think I'm going to do that!
